Rovensa Next doubles down on AI and training to deliver more practical biosolutions support

Biosolutions company Rovensa Next is rolling out a global AI platform and training academy to help distributors and growers move from fragmented biosolutions data to more practical, crop‑specific and evidence‑based recommendations in the field

As biosolutions aim to move from niche inputs to core farm management tools, distributors and growers are demanding advice that is faster, more practical, and backed by real evidence from the field.

In response, Rovensa Next has launched a global capability‑building initiative combining artificial intelligence and structured training, aimed at helping its teams deliver more connected, crop‑specific, and evidence‑based biosolutions support tailored to local needs.

The programme, announced in Madrid, forms part of Rovensa Next’s broader “Biosolutionize Agriculture” strategy, as the company looks to strengthen how knowledge, data and agronomy are translated into actionable recommendations at farm level.

Turning data into decisions

At the centre of the initiative is a new AI‑powered knowledge platform, designed to address a persistent problem in agricultural advisory: critical agronomic information is often fragmented across trials, reports and geographies, making it harder to deliver consistent guidance.

The platform consolidates more than 10,000 internal articles and insights from over 4,000 field trials, organising verified scientific information by crop and region. The goal is to help Rovensa Next teams and distribution partners move more quickly from data to decisions, while ensuring recommendations draw from a shared evidence base.

For distributors and field teams, this means faster responses to technical queries, clearer visibility of how products work together in integrated strategies, and reduced reliance on informal knowledge transfer. It is also designed to lower language barriers and accelerate the onboarding of new staff.

“The challenge is not a lack of knowledge, but making the right knowledge easier to use in real situations,” said Cathal Daynes, Global Technical Support and Knowledge Manager at Rovensa Next. “The AI platform helps turn our technical expertise into practical support, so teams can respond more effectively to partner needs and bring more relevant, evidence-based recommendations closer to growers in the field.”

Following a phased pilot in 2025, the platform will roll out across 15 countries in 2026, extending more consistent biosolutions support across Rovensa Next’s global footprint.

Training for consultative support

Complementing the AI platform is the Rovensa Next Training Academy, designed to strengthen teams’ ability to deliver consultative, rather than transactional, biosolutions advice.

As biosolutions decisions grow more complex – often involving combinations of biostimulants, biocontrols and natural‑based inputs – Rovensa Next argues that value increasingly sits in the quality of guidance, not just the products themselves.

The Training Academy focuses on building technical, commercial and leadership capabilities, helping teams better understand distributor and grower contexts and recommend solutions that are both agronomically sound and commercially viable.

“The Training Academy develops our teams’ ability to deeply understand customers – their context and challenges – so they can design and recommend the most relevant and tailored biosolutions strategies,” said Olga Maksimova, Director of Global Commercial Excellence at Rovensa Next.

The programme is delivered through a phased structure combining assessment, training, practice and follow‑up. It includes AI‑supported learning and role‑play simulations, allowing teams to move from theory to real‑world application and strengthen consultative behaviours in the field.

A strong emphasis is also placed on coaching and leadership, equipping managers to support their teams more effectively so advice delivered to distributors and growers is more confident, consistent and actionable.

Evidence‑based support at scale

For Rovensa Next, the initiative reflects a broader shift in how biosolutions are positioned – not as standalone inputs, but as part of integrated, performance‑driven strategies aligned with both profitability and sustainability goals.

“The most valuable innovation is the kind that leads to better decisions and measurable results in the field,” said Adriana Boock, Chief Product Officer at Rovensa Next. “This initiative strengthens our ability to support distribution partners with integrated, science‑backed solutions that help growers improve profitability while advancing sustainability.”

The global programme is already underway, with regional groups active across North America, EMEA, Mexico, LATAM and Brazil, laying the groundwork for more consistent knowledge‑sharing and agronomic support over time.

From products to systems

The initiative sits within Rovensa Next’s Biosolutionize Agriculture campaign, which highlights how biosolutions can help reduce synthetic load while supporting soil health, crop performance and long‑term resilience across crops and climates.

“Biosolutions are not a single product, but a complete solution that brings together biological and natural‑based products, innovative technologies and farming practices,” Boock added.

By investing in AI‑driven knowledge systems and structured capability‑building, Rovensa Next is betting that the next phase of biosolutions growth will be driven less by product proliferation – and more by how effectively science is translated into practical, field‑level outcomes.
